Christmas Message – Bishop Ernest A. Flemming

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Once more we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, God’s most vital gift to humans. It’s the
most wonderful time of the year for thousands of Christians. We listen again with gladness,
as the Evangelist Luke narrates the story of God’s most stupendous act. We name it “The
lncarnation.” How marvelous, that our holy and almighty God has come in human form to
dwell among sinners! lt was intentional, and our God was fully aware of how tremendously
beneficial this is for all humankind. Luke seeks to convey this wonderful message in the
Gospel passage, Luke 2:1-20.
